1. General Terms (apply to all experiences)
Reservations and Payments
- All reservations must be made through FUEGA Lab’s official channels.
- A reservation is confirmed once full payment is received or, for events exceeding $150,000 MXN, upon receipt of a 50% deposit.
- When a deposit is made, the remaining balance must be paid at least six (6) business days prior to the event or workshop.
- Payments made via credit card or payment link are subject to a 3.6% processing fee on the total invoiced amount.
- FUEGA Lab reserves the right to deny access if payment terms have not been fulfilled.
Changes and Rescheduling
- Any change in date, time, or conditions must be requested at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance.
- Changes requested outside this timeframe may incur a 6% administrative fee and are subject to availability.
- All sales are final. No refunds will be issued.
- Payments may be converted into credit for rescheduling within the period established by FUEGA Lab and subject to availability.
Assumption of Risk
- Experiences may involve the use of paints, dyes, tools, adhesives, heat, and specialized materials.
- By participating, the client voluntarily acknowledges and accepts the inherent risks associated with these activities, including stains, natural variations in finishes, minor allergic reactions, or damage to personal items.
- Customization is an artistic and manual process; results may vary.
Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FUEGA Lab’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service.
- FUEGA Lab shall not be responsible for indirect or consequential damages, loss of income, or for personal items that are damaged, stolen, or lost within or outside the premises.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring that the item they wish to customize is suitable for the creative process.
Conduct and Safety
- FUEGA Lab promotes a safe and respectful environment free from harassment or discrimination.
We reserve the right of admission and continued participation. - Any behavior that compromises the safety of staff, participants, or facilities may result in immediate termination of participation without refund.
- The premises may be monitored by video surveillance.
Ownership of Materials
- All unused materials remain the exclusive property of FUEGA Lab.
- Improper use or intentional damage to materials may result in additional charges.
Intellectual Property
- All concepts, methodologies, creative processes, trademarks, designs, and materials used by FUEGA Lab are the exclusive intellectual property of the company and may not be reproduced or commercially exploited without prior written authorization.
Indemnification
- Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless FUEGA Lab, its team, and collaborators from any claims arising from their conduct, misuse of materials, or damages caused to third parties.
Force Majeure
- FUEGA Lab shall not be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, governmental restrictions, technical failures, or public health emergencies.
Invoicing
- All prices include applicable taxes (VAT in Mexico).
- Invoices may only be requested during the same month in which payment was made.
Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the services are provided.
2. Public Workshops (in-studio or pop-ups)
Reservations
- Public workshops may be booked via website, WhatsApp, or official social channels.
Punctuality & Grace Period
- Workshops start on time. A 15-minute grace period is allowed.
- Late arrivals may join the session, but lost time will not be recovered and no refund will be issued.
Age and Accompaniment
- Participants under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Customization Scope
- Each workshop fee includes customization of one item only.
- Additional items require additional payment.
Rescheduling
- Rescheduling is allowed once for justifiable reasons, with at least 24 hours’ notice.
3. Private Events (corporate events, celebrations, etc.)
Deposits and Payments
- Full payment or a 50% deposit is required to secure the date.
- The remaining balance must be paid six (6) business days before the event.
Event Schedule and Setup
- The official event schedule is as stated in the approved quotation.
- Between 1.5 and 2 hours are allocated for setup prior to the event.
- Schedule changes requested less than 48 hours in advance will incur a 5% additional charge.
Duration and Extensions
- Standard duration of 3 hours with a 15-minute grace period
- Extension fees:
- $850 MXN for up to 45 extra minutes
- $1,500 MXN for each additional hour thereafter
Off-site Events
- Off-site events include additional logistics and transportation costs.
- Extensions outside the studio may also require adjustment in artist fees.
Additional Participants
- Participants not included in the approved quotation will incur a $500 MXN fee per person.
4. Summer School / Children’s Programs
- Designed for children ages 8 to 12.
- A signed parental or guardian consent form is required.
- Each child must bring their own lunch.
- Allergies must be disclosed in advance.
- Pickup must be punctual at the end of the scheduled time.
- The program is supervised at all times by a specialized team.
5. Brand Pop-up and Collaborations
- Each party shall assume the responsibilities established in the corresponding agreement or quotation.
- Setup time, materials, and logistics will be defined jointly.
- Daily activation duration must be established in advance.
- For brand collaborations, it will be defined whether materials are provided by FUEGA Lab or the brand.
6. Denim Workshop
Registration and participation in the Denim Customization Workshop implies acceptance of the following terms and conditions:
Payment Policy
- Full payment must be made at least one business day before the program begins to guarantee your place.
- If an invoice is required, it will be issued during the current month and will include applicable VAT.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
- We do not offer refunds. If you are unable to attend, you will receive a credit that can be used for another Denim workshop, but only until a new date becomes available. We will notify you in advance of any new dates that may be available.
- If you cancel on the day of the workshop, you will not be eligible to reschedule, and your ticket will be automatically canceled.
Emergency Cancellations
- If a participant cannot attend due to force majeure (illness or justified situation), Fuega Lab will grant a credit applicable to another denim workshop only, subject to availability.
Use of Materials and Garments
- The program includes all the necessary art supplies for each activity.
- The garments to be decorated (any denim garment) are not included; participants may bring their own.
Disclaimer
- Fuega Lab and its representatives assume no responsibility for any damage, injury, loss, or accident that may occur during the activities. Likewise, we are not responsible for the loss of or damage to personal belongings that participants bring with them.
Care and precautions
- During your workshop, you will be assisted by expert artists who can guide you in using materials and tailoring them to your specific needs. They will guide you in the use of more advanced or delicate tools for customization; however, Fuega Lab is not responsible for any damage or injury resulting from the misuse of a tool or technique previously taught.
Schedule and times
- Your time in the workshop is 4 consecutive hours, this is adapted to the type of workshop and the type of material being handled. The maximum extension is 15 minutes after its completion and Fuega is not responsible for finishing your garment if it is not finished due to lack of time or poor management of it.
Media and Publicity Rights
- During workshops and activations, photographs and recordings may be taken.
- Participants grant FUEGA Lab the right to use their image, voice, and name for promotional, advertising, and informational purposes across any physical or digital media.
- This authorization is granted without territorial or time limitation and without monetary compensation.
- If a participant does not wish to appear in content, written notice must be provided prior to the event.
